Nice E! I will say the best part of the lights page is the Husky fan.

Your room really turned out nice. I think I've told you before but I read through all of your pages and learned quite a bit from what you did. Thanks for all the detail... again, you did a swell job.

What is the depth (front to back) of your riser? We'll be building ours tomorrow. Right now I'm thinkin' 5-6'.

Thanks buddy...and I'm so proud of my Husky Fan!

My riser is not that deep at all...only 2' deep. I didn't want it stickin' into the room too much...but if you have the space...knock yourself out...that just means more room for the kids to put on a show for their daddy!

Sonnie, you're talking about your rear seating riser, not the front stage, right? I'll post in your garage thread about this.

                Riser Modification
                by efarstad
Hey gang...I'm either crazy, bored, or just want to redo my "largest" goof on my theater contruction...that I did not build my riser "high" enough. I framed my riser out of 2x6's and put one layer of flooring down and carpet and pad of course...here's a picture:

                The Ultimate Riser? KaboomY?
                by Rolyasm
                Hey all,
I am coming down to the wire with all these decisions. Am planning 4 sub drivers (15" or 18" avalanche), built into my riser that is appx. 8x15 and high enough for the drivers. I just read on page 5 or so of the old forums about getting boominess out of a poorly constructed...

                Transmission Line Riser Sub?
                by Lindahl
Thinking about that Danley that reaches 126db at 20hz with only a 12" in a transmission line-style box. I'm thinking I could take one of the many crowd-pleasing 15" or 18" drivers we all use, here, and throw it into my riser and snake a transmission line through it to get something pretty...

                Riser Modification FINALLY!
                by efarstad
Hey Gang! I finally modified my riser to bring it up to "appropriate" seating height so folks in the back row can "clean and clearly" see over the front row.

Follow link in sig to see what I did!

Last chance before drywall- please review
                by ericschirm
I just ordered the drywall so this is my last chance for any changes. Please let me know if I am missing anything.

The room is 18.5 x 12.5 x (10ft ceilings but will have to drop 1 ft because of pipes, frame & sheetrock) with a storage closet and a double window. I haven't decided...
