    Martin Logans and SVSs

Well, some of you know that I put my Martin Logan SL3s in my theater, but now I've recently purchased a passive SVS sub to go with my active SVS and here's how they look in our theater:

The ML's are just stunning for HT speakers but getting another SVS, tuned down to 22hz (my other SVS is tuned to 25hz), let me just say that I am now in HT BLISS! :bluezoned:

More detailed and close-up shots coming...thanks for watching!

E, you are the man! Two SVS's tuned to different outputs? That's a great idea.

BTW, the theater looks "Mmmmmmahvelous" (in best Billy Crystal voice) :T :T :T Chris had better get in here and banana you.

Thanks David! The new SVS is my early MBA Graduation present! :-y Even though I don't graduate until next month, the SVS boys offered me a deal I couldn't refuse! Tom at SVS recommended I get the other sub tuned to 22hz so that together the two subs would really hit hard and lower...he was not joking! :bluezoned: I can go way above reference levels (but I can hardly stand it for too long) and with these two subs everything just sails right along with no distortion...just smooth, LOUD, LOW, bass! So much air pressure gets moved in the theater...it can hurt your ears!

        Thanks Andrew...

              My New SVS 25-31Pci
              by efarstad
I'm just a simple guy who loves HT. Like many I heard A LOT about SVS and their subs...then I saw that their new PCi line was coming out. I pre-ordered one of their 25-31PCi's and waited patiently.

Then the day came...my UPS tracking number! I couldn't wait to see if the Sub would live...

              SVSound or Martin Logan??
              by legion1capone
I have been reading online about the SVS PB12-NSD. It looks like a fantastic deal for the price and am just wondering how it compares to something like a Martin Logan Grotto or Martin Logan Depth, as I have heard the Martin Logans and like them. I listened to the B&W 610xp since it has good reviews...

I was in Seattle this past week, and just happened to see that Martin Logan was doing their US premier of their new flagship model, the CLX, at a Magnolia Hi-Fi there in Seattle. So I went, and was TOTALLY blown away by the performance. For a while now, I've thought that my next (and last) speaker...

Hi everyone, I messaged an admin on where to post this and he suggested here or DIY. I'll try here first, if it should be moved that's cool. :T
