Hi Guys - I've just purchased a home with a 16 x 13 x 9 LWH heated room in the basement that I want to turn into a listening room. It has no windows and concrete walls on one side and one end, sheet rock one the other side and the final wall not yet built. Since it's not yet built, I'd like to look into the concept of angled walls to reduce room modes. I'm looking at the Rives website and the various packages they offer there, including the one that allows angled walls. The problem is I don't yet know enough about how to use the packages in order to come up with a decent design. Should I be looking for a designer or be giving it a go on my own. Your advice would be appreciated.
