    Schellshocked Theater Updated

For those that don't know, we had moved to a new home last June.
We had it custom built however did not finish the basment.
We will be completing the basment in different stages which will include
a bar, rec room , video game room and of course a dedicated Theater room.
The Theater room will be 17 feet wide and 19 feet in length.
It will feature 2 rows of seating in front of the 106" projection screen.
Image is generated from the Matinee HD2 LCD projector.
The sound system is comprised of the Denon 5803 (upgraded 5800)
Seperates from Parasound, Toshiba SD-9200 DVD player etc..
The speaker arrangement includes the Paradigm Reference Studio V2
line with the 100's at the front and 4 Studio APD surrounds in the rear.
The bass is handled with Dual Paradigm Servo-15a's at the front and
Dual SVS cylinders power by the Samson 700 amp.

I just spent the last week temporary setting up the Theater room
in it's future space. We want to watch movies on the big screen
with this temporary set-up until we actually finish the room professionally.
Here are some photo's I took to give you a bit of an idea
as to where we are heading with the dedicated room.
This is the temporary set-up..The bar and media rack will likely
not be set-up in the rooms final plans though.

Really nice Trevor. One problem. You're going to hate to take it all apart to finish the room. No HT for awhile. :B

                Thanks Guys!:T

As for taking it apart. When the time comes, I don't think
it will take too much time. It shouldn't be much of an issue
as long as I keep things similar.

                  Trevor,
Love the posters, but have a question for you / all. Do you have much reflection off of the glass on them, or is it non-reflective glass? I would really like to put posters all around the walls of my HT (when I get that far), but I am worried about the reflection...any comments / suggestions? Thanks.

Chris,,I think the reflection is due, partly to the flash on my camera.
The front of my frames aren't glass, but actually a flexible PVC sheet.
My frames are the snap up type,,so, I could always change front protector
                    if I had to.
