    IR distribution

So what's the scoup on distributing IR signals from one room to another? I've seen everything from hard wired to Powermid IR to RF to IR type systems. I only need to pass along a signal from my living room to the basment HT room so we can control the CD juke box from upstairs. My Rotel has inputs for a second zone IR so what would you recomend?
