Distributing Digital(HDMI) video to 3 displays

My friend asked me how I would do this and I'm a bit stumped.

He has the following devices and wishes to distribute the video to multiple devices in his house.

Sony HDMI Upconverting 400 DISC DVD Changer
    HD Directivo with HDMI
Media Center based PC with DVI/HDMI

    distributed to:

    2 plasmas
    1 Front Projector.

The new iScan VP-30 maybe a little overkill but the signal distributed will be of great quality.

The VP30 only has 1 output

It needs to be 3 unless something else needs to be in the chain.

      I was thinking:
Instead of the changer: take the media center PC and combine it with a networked HDMI dvd player and go that route for pictures, audio and video. Then wait for the whole house dvr from Directv. He may not be willing to wait on the whole house solution though. This might work provided that the networked HDMI dvd players will upscale regular dvds to 720P via HDMI.

That's one route, otherwise you're going to have to find a multi-output HDMI/DVI switcher....

Another option is whole-house gear. I know Netstreams is supposed to be coming out with whole-house IP based AV (including HD) streaming but I don't know if it will be available in time...?

Otherwise you may have to check with the big boys (Creston, Elan etc) in whole-home though that can and will get very $$$ very quick...

            Upconverting to HDMI
            by Pookie007
Does anyone know of any surround processors that will upconvert all inputs to HDMI? I see the new Marantz receivers will do it. I would like to only have one cable to the TV, due to distance and routing of the cable.

My other option would be to get a processors and DVDO VP30. If...

How I've added HDMI 1.3 high bitrate audio decoding to my Parasound C1
            by Chris D
Quite a thread title, I guess. Perhaps I should subtitle it, "or how I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb... I mean, theater."

As the title says, I've added HDMI 1.3 audio decoding to my home theater, centered around the Parasound C1 home theater controller. As...

So, it's happening... HDMI 1.4 is in the final stages of work, and will likely be released within the month. You can expect to see products start showing up after New Year's, and more prevalent throughout 2010. Here's what you need to know.

            HDMI problems, especially 1.3
            by Chris D
Yikes. I just went to a conference on HDMI, and it was NOT pretty. Had representatives from HD-DVD, Blu-Ray, Microsoft, two cable companies, and various manufacturers of A/V equipment, in addition to some industry experts like Joe Kane.

I knew we were in trouble with HDMI standards...
