Quality DIY materials...

i'm looking for some group-think on materials (and i use that term widely)...what are your must-haves? good values vs. overpriced bling? special wallboard? speaker cabling? cable termination systems? anything you want to shout out for...tell us about it.

e.g.: RG6 quad wire braid (not foil or RG59), niles wall jacks, etc.

You can ask about wallboard, you can ask about termination systems, but open ended cable talk outside of zip cord is not ok. We are cable company sponsored and as such, have more stringent guidelines on cable talk, in general, catch all requests aren't ideal anyway, it's like trying to hit a firefly with a shotgun. You may or may not hit it.

So, I'd suggest narrowing your questions, and you'll get better responses.
