    need help

    I just bought Mx700 remote control and I am trying to program it but I am not having any success; I read the programming manual(I tried to...) the more I read the worse I got ; is there an easier step by step giude to how to program it?

                  I can't seem to program the mx700 with a new device (from the IR database) e.g. a Sony dvd dvp500,
