As you may know, the Gameboy Advance features a non-backlit LCD screen which makes it difficult to play in any condition where direct light isn't available.
I just purchased a device called the Afterburner http://www.tritonlabs.com/. It's a Gameboy Advance modification which actually puts a light inside the case. Obviously, this requires cracking open the case and wiring the itty bitty device to the Gameboy's power.
I'm an extreme novice when it comes to soldiering. I'm especially nervous about this mod as my wife loves her Gameboy. It'll only cost me $60 to replace if I kill it but still, failure is not an option.
Anyone have any good soldiering tips -or even some bad ones? Maybe I'll practice on something else first.
