Monivision 32" Monitor

Okay this thing can display 720p natively and it's basically the very highly regarded Princeton monitor reincarnated, with less inputs and less $$$ :P Talk about a nice PC monitor for a bedroom HTPC or small living room etc :P 8O :P

The only thing I'm not sure of for us Canucks, is how available it is up here...

The picture tube is a Toshiba Microfilter stripe tube; has well above average contrast and color purity; I have an NEC 29" diagonal 4:3 presentation monitor using that tube in my bedroom.

If I had more spare cash, I'd probably pick up one of these, just because much of what I watch is widescreen. The stripe pitch is the limiting factor in resolution; it's not quite fine enough to resolve 1280, but it's better than pretty much any direct veiw TV set, including most of the so called HD widescreen ones- only the new Sony models are better.

I just thought it would make a kick ass computer monitor for a small HTPC! :P :P But all that stripe pitch stuff is neat too... lol

I wonder how much a comparable Sony is going for?
