    Connecting TV to Ge-Force4

    Hi!,,

I am tring to connect a 24" TV to my Computer.
The Graphics card that I am using is a Gainward G-Force 4
that has an adapter to enable the use of an S-video cable to make the connection.
I have goten that far at this point, however, I have to enable the use of the TV as a second monitor in the Video properties.
All of the informataion and boxes are there in properties to do this, except they are greyed in and will not aloow me to check them off.

What can I do to enable this feature?
    Thanks for any help!

Trev, make sure the monitor is connected to the graphics card and then reboot the system. The monitor has to be connected to the card to enable those other menus.

Set the TV as secondary display NTSC.

    That should be it...

Let me know if that doesn't do it for you...

      Thanks for the info Bing,,

Unfortunately the problem is something else..
The Tv is connected to the graphics card already.

The menu's to activate the TV do appear ,however are shaded in grey and can not be activated.

I will disconnect everything and try once more to see if it acknowledges the connection.
It should work but for some reason it isn't...definately not a plug and play G-Force 4...
Maybe it's time to ditch it for a new one. :P

        It's working!!

A simple wiggle of the S-vid cable at the back of the TV corrected the problem..Go figure.

        S-vids.. ;s@
