HTPC settings...and defaults.

A couple of things are drivin' me nuts.
First my Elsa settings won't stay where I set them, after a reboot all settings are back to default.
I go into the Elsa's advanced "color control" section, set my brightness, contrast, color level and hue where I want them, hit "apply", get out of everything, and watch my movie...if I have to reboot for any reason, my settings are back to default.???
Any Ideas?????

Second problem is with powerDVD's "configuration" section, I can get the "color controls" to open up, I've tried it both ways, with a movie playing, and in the stop mode. Nothing allows me to use them.

The Elsa tools are weird that way, what *sometimes* works for me is to make the video overlay changes, then save them with a specific name, then hit the "Apply" button. Then usually they're in place the next time I startup. That may not be the exact drill, but that's what I remember off hand, with not enough sleep last night!
