Yeah, the programming is where it's at. A remote is a boat anchor without proper programming for your system. Some use very sophisticated techniques, and without proper training, you will have a difficult time setting up. I am not familiar with these. I know Crestron, used to take an engineering degree.

Yes, they are planning on programming it. Im not going to use it for HVAC or lighting etc.. Just for LCD TV - family room 5-1, theatre, backyard speakers, garage speakers at this point. Not for two channel. Supposedly its supposed to be the easiest thing out there to use. We'll find out. Should have it up and running by the end of this week.Comment

I've just about given up on my Crestron dream for controlling my AutoPatch. The software is just super obtuse and I don't have time to deal with it. Andrew has convinced me of the Pronto's superiority so I'll grab a TSU2000 from ebay and get cracking on it!
