I've got a PS3, and have been meaning to pick up Guitar Hero III. Haven't had time, though. I'm hearing about lag issues with the wireless controller, too. Now that Rock Band is upon us, though, anybody have comparisons between the two games? Is one guitar better than the other?

I have not had any lag on GHIII, I find the guitar to be very good. I just saw Rock Band today at WalMart. What a huge box! Not sure as to the quality of the guitar though, I won't be buying it...Danish -
Would still very much like to hear about this, whoever has tried both games. I'm hearing that on the PS3 specifically, each game's guitar controller does NOT work with the other game.

It's out as of yesterday! I picked up a PS3 version with the new controller shortly after the local game store opened. Below is a brief, inital review.
The first thing I noticed upon opening the box is that the guitar was in two pieces. The truss/neck has to be inserted into the body....
