Capture card with DVI or component input?

I was wondering if anyone knew of a capture card that had this, as I cannot find one. I want to use my set top box and use my pc as a DVR.... but I just dont think the technology is there....

Any ideas?

You don't see many of those capture cards are on the market for component because the last 2 generations of the video cards are now equipped component video in(those higher models like ATI All-In-Wonder series). If your computer can take PCI-express card, pick one of those cards up as you get video card upgrade in the same time :B
Mostly are just component, I've never seen a DVI input though.

The Dazzle is an excelent easy answer. I have the DVC 80, plugs into usb works great with XP. Has audio composit and S.

Yea it's easy to find a composite and S video capture card. They are pretty much everywhere. But component an DVI input do not come easy.

nVidia's card you will have to look around as they have different features from various manufactors.

Basically they are video card equipped component in and allow you for some recording over component.
