Here's another newbie question for you. I'd like to place my X-Box in my equipment closet which is on the front wall of my theater room about 6 feet to the left of the center of the TV screen, but I'm worried that the wireless remotes won't work well or at all if the box isn't right in line with the TV. Any thoughts?

David, I doubt that the 6 feet will make a difference, the remotes (controllers?) use rf, IIRC. -

I agree also. I would just make sure that you have the Logitech wireless 2.4 GHZ, that is currently the best rated wireless controller.

The wireless controllers also dont rumble as often as the factory controllers at least that is my experiance with them. I have the logitech ones myselfComment

Logitech Wireless headset
I have the logitech wireless controller and headset. The headset has been disappointing from an interference standpoint. I've tried disabling my wireless router, removing my wireless phones from the room. all to no avail. Just a word of caution, pretty expensive item to get constant (but distant) clicking in your ear. I've tried everything that's been suggested so far. any ideas from anyone would be appreciatedComment

Logitech now has a wireless Xbox controller that looks very nice. It operates on the 2.4 Ghz system with a range of 50 feet.
8 wireless controllers can be used with one console, I don't know of any games off the top of my head that would utilize that many controllers, however... -
