Konami Leaving Xbox?!?!?

Ok, I read a rumor on one of the other HT forums that Konami may be leaving XBox... Anybody have any info to subtantiate this?

This of course means no Metal Gear X for Xbox.

Man this Xbox deal is starting to stink!!!

I've read that too. My opinion is that Microsoft is going to have to prove themselves before Japanese developers throw serious weight behind Xbox.

With the exception of Dead or Alive 3, every confirmed Japanese Xbox game is second rate at best. Companies are putting forth minimal efforts until Xbox is deemed a profitable platform. Every Japanese developer has their #1 teams creating PS2 and Gamecube content right now.

I have read at other sites that maybe Konami is downplaying MGX so as to not affect sales of MG2/PS2, I sure hope so.

Sili, I'm looking forward to DOA3 as it certainly looks good.
