The top one looks good ,but the rest don't look to great.
Distorted or something like that.
Is that truely the visual or were you
quivering a bit with excitement when you took those pics,
causing some vibration?

I guess I need to increase the aperture or something. Shooting without a flash in total darkness isn't an easy shot. :?

You see the shutter is open a long time without a flash in darkness. That makes it a tough shoot. Try it when you get yours up, I think you will find it's tough.

I deleted all but the first 2.

I know exactly what you mean Lex... I tried to take some screen shots last night but they are hard to do in the dark and stay steady for that long. Maybe I should break out my tripod or maybe try pausing the pic.

Guys...you must push "pause" or you won't get a very steady image. I took my screen shots without a tripod and they came out ok....but when I took live action shots...blurry and not very purty to look at!

You don't usually get as good a quality on pause from the dvd player though, not usually. So, it's a catch 22. I think the above 2 shots are not bad myself. But you guys can think what you want, lol.

I actually thought about pausing the image after the fact. I can't remember how well our pause on the Denon 2900 is.

I think maybe I should try a brighter scene too or get a better camera. I think my camera is only 2 megapixels or so.

But still yet a tripod would probably help me too. I'm not too steady and surely that shutter speed is slow. Of course I'm behind the times with digital cameras. Are they advanced enough to supposedly capture enough light digitally at high shutter speeds?

It's going to be hard to do a good capture in low light without a tripod and with a moving screen.

Check on the projector itself to see if there is a "screen capture" feature, if the proj has this it will just capture the screen with no/minimal loss of quality for you to take a picture with (as opposed to the softening of the picture when using the "pause" on the player).
