Thanks, Lex. That's pretty much accurate to what I receive in the Seattle area, about 12-15 stations. I wonder what the "DMA ranking" means, though? It doesn't have to do with the quantity of stations in the area. Quality?

I am excited though , that our own ExpressVu Satellite has a package available containing 14 Hi Def channels including the US Networks..
I should have my new dish up in going in about three weeks...

Wow, 14 channels, that's a bunch Trevor! I just have 4 here on satellite currently, and could get 2 movie channels. Well, the 3 locals are there on expensive cable. like 60 extra bucks a month. But at this point, I can't justify them. Over the air is possible, but it would require an outdoor antenna, and not sure the signal quality I would get. I mean mediocre signal quality for high def just wouldn't be good at all. Might as well stick with DirecTV locals via my receiver component hookup.

Lex, this is good info. Can you post it over in A/V Chalet as well?
Just thinkin' some without FP's might not see it.
This is similar to antennaweb.org and 100000watts.com which I made a post about in A/V Chalet.
Cool.... DTV is popping up everywhere now and more and more local stations are passing along HDTV.
Canada's ExpressVu sounds interesting. Is that satellite Trev?
Andrew, I think on OTA digitals if you get the signal it should be as good as it gets. You either get it or you don't. No multipath, etc. But then again I could be wrong. I'm not sure if antennaweb.org works for Canada but if it does it can tell you about your reception possibilities.

Canada's ExpressVu sounds interesting. Is that satellite Trev?
ExpressVu offers a HD satelitte , A PVR satelitte and a version that is just basic.
The HD package just became available just recently, making this the time now to invest in the HD dish.

Trevor, what is the best price/most HD combo for BEV?
I am no longer interested in compressed SD programming.
I've been a long-time Starchoice sub and their paltry 5.5 channels (QC issues asside) don't cut it, and they won't have the bandwidth for more for a long time... (Even with the implementation of Anik F2, they are still screwed for bandwidth... The transponder space hey are renting is being provided by Telesat, which is a division of BCE, for Pete's sake!)
I would seriously consider changing providers, except I have made so many contacts within Starchoice that it would be hard to give it up and have to start all over again.)- Bottom

This is good, adding international resources as well, thanks guys!
Sonnie, this information, well the base info is also located in RPTVs. So, if you think video, you'll find the list.
