    HDTV Reviews - Where?

    Hey guys,

I'm about a year away from replacing my 36" XBR400 as my main TV. I'll probably go for a 16x9 RPTV. I'd like to start reading up on current models now so I'm fluent in this category by Christmas 2002. Can anyone recomend a good site for HDTV hardware reviews?

    Hi,Sili,
I don't know of any web sites at the moment, but just about every HT magazine is reviewing new HDTVs.One of the best, in my opinion, is The Perfect Vision.Stereophile Guide To Home Theater isn't too bad, either. And Widescreen review.

If you haven't already found it, try http://www.avsforum.com

Any chance you'd consider a FPTV?

It didn't take long for widescreen to spoil me.

Since I've gotten my new HDTV widescreen monitor I've been surfing trying to learn more about when I would be able to really take advantage of viewing OTA widescreen broadcast and exactly what digital television would bring to the table...

As my family begins the upgrade to HDTV I have a question as to what TV to get as our "everyday" TV in the den. I saw the Loewe and the Sony side by side and fiddled with both to see how good I could get them to look in the store. There was no question that the Loewe had the superior picture,...

I hope I came to the right spot... I'm looking for info and reviews on HDTV tuners. The websites that I've found are not very informative. I'm looking for something like this forum. Where I can get honest unbiased opinions.

For anyone with about $3,000 to invest and a lot of couch time to fill, purchasing a High Definition Television will be the next logical step up the technology food chain.

I'd like to know what is the appeal of HDTV?

Now from what little I know:

        Resolution:

I guess this is the main benefit, at 1080i, the picture become very clear. I've seen some demos on some HDTV sets and on FPTV setups. So yes the demo material is really...
