    Panny 50" G10

Just purchased this panny plasma last week from best buy I must admit....I wish I did this a long time ago. Black levels, picture detail on sports especially, and movie viewing is impressive. Just wanted to share this. Best purchase in years.....

I thought that buying a blu ray player would simplify the hook up process etc, wow I was mistaken. I have a Rotel 1068/1075/1085 setup...

I have been reading many different threads on blu-ray players and audio connections. I consider myself an avid fan of HT, with slightly better than novice understanding of the numerous options for connections, trouble shooting, etc. However, this audio connection is somewhat confusing.

Western classic SHANE coming to blu-ray, but...
      by George Bellefontaine
... to my disappointment, it will not be the theatrically released 1:66 wide screen. Though Shane was originally shot using the standard 1:37:1 Academy ratio, Paramount had invented their own flat widescreen format and chose Shane to debut it because Shane was mostly composed of long and medium shots...

Thinking of a Panny AE700 over my Sharp 9000 DLP PJ...am I crazy?
      by awtryau89
