    Last of the Pioneers!

    Hey, a local dealer is getting rid of the last few of his Pioneer plasmas and just to get some more sales in, he brought in some "krp600" models from Europe. Im assuming this is the same as the U.S. models, just different model designations. Also, he was talking about $2,200 for the krp600, I believe.

    What do you think, is it worth looking into? :huh: He said he'd take a deposit to hold it until I was ready to buy.

    If it is the same as the US model (and I do have doubts), it is a steal at $2200. Take a look at the thread on AVSforum that compares all the recent Pioneer Kuro and non-Kuro models for information.

        So am I. I have finally put myself in financial position to purchase one, especially at the lower prices, and now I run the risk of never getting one.

              Hello fellow AVSforumners. I am in a dilemma and I need your expertise. I am torn between these four players and I cannot make up my mind. I just want to make the right decision. All these players I can probably get for about the same price. I just found the Pioneer 47ai for $550 and I think it is a...

              Denon 2200 and 2900 Region Free?
              by theMaximus
              I saw a while back a guy in U.K. selling some type of factory service CD that makes Denon 2200 and 2900 region free. He claimed it's completely safe and won't void warranty. Has anyone heard or tried something like this? I made my cheap Samsung DVD player for my bedroom region free with some remote...

              12 Volt trigger Rotel 1098 -> Pioneer DV 45A
              by HibbardSmith
              I'd like to use a 12 v trigger from my Rotel 1098 to a Pioneer DV-45A Elite DVD Player. I can't find any information about Pioneers trigger in. Is this some Pioneer proprietary thing or is it 12 Volt trigger compatible?

              I wasn't sure where to post this, but it's really not a Rotel question....

              Has anyone used the pioneer BDP-51FD? When I read the reviews they seem favorable other than the price. Now the price has dropped to $350, so I am considering this as a bedroom Blu-Ray player. I have a 50" Pioneer Kuro in that room. The audio runs through the tv since my wife refuses to let...
