Electrical connection install questions

I'm having a Sony VPL-VW50 (Pearl) installed next week, and my electrician is coming to do some prep work.

As I'm anticipating putting in a power conditioner in my rack under the screen (where the projector will actually plug in), I'm having him wire come romex/conduit from the projector, across my (condo) ceiling.

So, a few questions...

1. What do I get to plug the projector into; i.e., in the ceiling? Would I use a hospital grade outlet, or is there some kind of "pass-through" box that I would need? Whatever it is, the conduit wires would connect to the back side for the run across the ceiling.
   
   
2. At the far wall (under the screen), I assume I would need a double male connector plate of some kind ...true?

Then I would just get a short standard power cord to plug into the power conditioner. Does this sound right?

Congrats on the Pearl! :banana:

I put a standard electrical outlet on the ceiling to plug my projector into. Mine's on a dedicated circuit, which is good, but a bit overkill.

What do you need a "connector plate" for under your screen? Do you have something to plug in there?

PS Audio, Furman Sound, Panamax and [ugh!] Monster all manufacture in-wall power conditioners (including one balanced power unit from Furman) specially for projectors and wall mounted TVs.
