    Got a new Toy....Finally

After lurking :lurk: for ages I've finally stepped out from the fray to show off my new Panasonic TH-42PV60A HD 42" Plasms TV. I love it

My mates said I should get an LCD, since Plasma is "apparently" a dead or dying technology. For me it's perfect, great contrast, great colours. I compared it against all comers and it was the best for my budget.

Next step is getting the Denon DVD-1930 to take advantage of the High Def.

Plasma isn't dead, but it will probably disappear over the next 5 years due to relative production costs, etc, especially when (if) SED comes on line. But that is not in any way an argument against buying one now, since TODAY its performance for the money makes it a very good choice.

      Congrats on your new toy!

Thanks Gents! I have square eyes...or should I say 16:9 eyes from watching so much tellie. I don't have any HD sources yet, so the more excitement to come.

I need to build some speakers for my HT. I have the less than ideal HT setup that is pictured below.

My plasma is against the wall on one side and there isn't really room for towers. What I want to do is build right left and center that replace the utter crap I have...

I have the opportunity to get a plasma or LCD TV. Which of the two should I do?

Also, I haven't done a critical viewing yet but I understand some of them have some pretty loud fans. I can purchase Toshiba, Samsung, Phillips, Fujitsu, Panasonic, or Sharp Aquous (I think that is how you...

Rotel 1060 Video connection with 1098/Plasma.
            by >>Angel<<
            Dear Rotel enthousiasts,

Yesterday I bought a Pioneer plasma screen to complete my Rotel setup
After concluding all the (required) connections I found out that there's a problem displaying (progressive or not) an 1060 image on the Plasma screen.
            I really hope...
