I buy all my DVI and HDMI cables from Gefen. (www.gefen.com) Until Cat Cables starts making them. You have to be careful with these types of cables, as saving money can deteriorate the quality, especially with longer run lengths. I've found Gefen to have the best price/quality ratio.

I can personally attest to the need for quality HDMI cables in longer run lengths. I first bought a 25' HDMI cable from Pacific Cables, and it has constant video dropout and flicker. So I returned it and got a 30' HDMI cable from Gefen, which works fine. But if it were any longer (say 50') I would not even go with the Gefen cable, I'd have to buy something better.

by Nolan BExposed cables are a major pet peeve of mine, and if they MUST be exposed then the should look good enough that it looks like you are almost exposing them on purpose. I have hit the biggest challange yet and could use some advice and ideas. Hiding cables on a brick wall.
