    Our VX-2c looks awesome!

We just hooked up the Runco VX-2c and all I can say is WOW.

On a smallish 92" grayhawk at roughly 15', it looks nuts amazing!

Still nothing compared to the SC-1 I toyed with at Runco Academy, but still amazing nonetheless.

well it sure pumps out a lot of light for 2000 hours, great for a really big screen. I bet you could go 10 feet wide with that thing assuming you can sit far enough back to obscure the pixels. I'm not sure I could spend $28K to get 2800:1 CR though

We just set up the VX-2i in our Miami showroom and it really smokes.

Watching HD Sat over CAT5 video distribution at 200' s still amazing.

      Enjoy your new toy!

You bet you could do 10'. That is the max recommended screen size actually. And FYI, that CR number means absolutely nothing in the real world. Nothing at all. Shoot an email to Sam Runco and he can explain it to you. 200:1 is considered a high real-world measured contrast ratio.

A high ANSI contrast ratio, maybe. Even that is falling quickly now with the new DLPs.

We just got done installing a VX40. That thing rocks. Crazy thing is it's only on a 109" screen! That thing has so any geometry adjustments for a DLP, I think we could have thrown it in the corner and still lined it up.

I'm sure that the bright Runcos project a stunning picture, but 2500 lumens is certainly overkill for a 92" screen. Just as 4000 lumens is on a 109" screen.
I've got a meager 1000 lumens for a 180" 0.85 gain Grayhawk perforated screen, and it looks pretty good.

But the room does need to be pitch black for an optimal picture. 8)
