DLP projector or DLP projection TV?

I just got a job at Best Buy... so instead of mooching of my friends discount I have my own :T

I was almost sold on the Sammy HLR5667W... until I looked at the projectors....

Here are the projectors they carry.

So I know that my options are limited, but the discount more than makes up for it. So what would you go with?

Would the HC100U be that bad?

I know the Infocus 4805 is very highly rated and is generally considered the king of the hill at its price point (the "under $1,500" projector class). I am certain it will better both Mitsubishi machines regardless of the fact that both of them are more expensive than the Infocus. The Sharp which is 3x the price as the Infocus should be the best projector since its a 720p machine (higher resolution than the other three) and Sharp makes a very good projector. So I guess it comes down to your discount. If the Sharp is more heavily discounted or you have the budget, then go for it, especially if you are going to watch a lot of HD TV.

Well I don't know your situation or your budget or the difference in price after your discount, but (as I said) if you watch a lot of hi-def TV (HD Cable or HD Satellite), then the 720p is the way to go for sure and will be worth the extra investment.

If money is not a concern, I'd go with the 720p DLP also myself. If you're on a tight budget, go for the 4805.
