    Good Deal Over at AC

The deleted link was to a site where an equipment dealer was posting what amounted to advertising. Good deals, or not, and regardless of your relationship or lack thereof to the dealer, that is not allowed unless they are paying for advertising here.

800D deal: Should I take it?
    by Oddiophile
    Hi,

My dealer offered me his demo pair of 800Ds at $19,500 Cdn. At the same time someone offered me $4,000 Cdn for my N802s. The dealer has offered to broker the deal at no cost.

    Is this a good deal?

What is the normal retail of the 800Ds? (preferably...

    B&W dealer charging for delivery
    by nkb
    I purchased 2x802D's, 1xHTM2D, 1xASW825 from my closest B&W authorized dealer (45 min drive).

These have now arrived at the dealer along with a raft of other high-end A/V stuff. Total bill ~$50K.

Granted that I bargained hard and got a good discount but dealer says...

SSP-800 and automated EQ: A Deal Breaker?
    by sikoniko
I'd like to invite everybody from the HTGuide forum to participate, as I'd like to know if the lack of an AutoEQ feature in the SSP-800 is a deal breaker for you, and causes you to look at competing products.

Does your authorized dealer stock the components?
    by Burke Strickland
I just confirmed (by visiting the store) that the local Houston authorized dealer for Integra / Integra Research now only has some of the Integra units in stock, or even set up for demo. They said that they used to stock the Integra Research pieces and had a short run on them where they sold several...

    It's a Deal: Sony VPL HS51, Sharp XVZ2000, Panansonic PT-AE900U
    by Azeke
Here is the deal, called my dealer and told him I'm looking for a deal I can't refuse. He offered me the Sony VPL HS51 for $2496.00, however he also carries the Sharp XVZ2000. I know this is LCD vs digital. Is this a good deal? Has anyone compared the two? I currently have a screen with a gain...
