1. Should i remove the protective screen cover myself, an if so does anyone really know how to go about doing this.

2. Other than the standard tweeking that can be done in the factory settings, is there anything that i can do to improve the picture

3. And if i was to get my TV professionally calibrated an tuned in, does anyone know of anyone that does that kind of thing here in Alabama?

As far as I know all sets are different, some don't even allow the screen to be removed. Try a google search or when you do call an ISF tech they should be able to tell you either over the phone or when they come out.

Have you calibrated the set using Video Essentials or Avia set up discs? If you haven't, these will make a huge difference :T
