Some Raal 140-15 measurements

Distortion and FR @ 95dBSPL, 3" from Raal 140-50 without its little foam pads.

1st pict is w/o crossover in place.

2nd is same conditions.

3rd and 4th are with a 24dB/oct electrical @ 2KHz.

Off axis verticals of Raal in room @ 1 meter. Without and then WITH supplied foam pads. 0 - 30 degrees in 10 degree increments.

It looks like the pads suppress the peak more than acting like a horn/waveguide and boost the off-axis.

That's the idea, yes. To boost vertical off axis performance. I may make a similar, larger version for the Neo10's I'm using in this project.

Well, yes AND no. This model is sealed back, but Alexander is coming out with a dipole version. Quite a bit spendier.....
