    Gigli

Common, fess up, who has seen this movie?

Let me be the first to confess, I saw it and it was terrible. The best part of this movie was the scenes with Christopher Walken and Al Pacino. The rest was garbage even though it was very interesting seeing Jennifer doing yoga 8O

    Thanks,
    Maziar

While we are "fessing up", did you buy the DVD or are you only reminiscing from your experience with the movie in a commercial theater? One reviewer has suggested that there were worse movies released in 2003, (The Recruit, Kangaroo Jack, The Guru, Under the Tuscan Sun, The Haunted Mansion, Cat in the Hat, Stuck on You, Good Boy!, Shanghai Knights, The Matrix Reloaded), but I'll bet 20 years from now, the bomb everyone remembers and still laughs about will be Gigli. For a review of the featureless DVD (that means "no extras", not "no movie", although in this case that might have been a blessing): :>) http://movieweb.com/dvd/reviews/revi...099&review=257

I'll "fess up" to watching the clips of Gigli that they showed on The Tonight Show when they were promoting it as a modern-day "Woman of the Year". (That's before anyone not associated with its production had suffered through the whole thing.) I already knew JLo and Ben were no Hepburn and Tracy, but the preview scenes that should have piqued interest in the movie instead piqued my interest in saving my money. :>) So I've saved it twice -- by neither wasting it on tickets nor on the DVD.

What you DON'T say may be held against you...

I confess! I haven't seen this stinker in the theater or on DVD. No plans to, either. :

Thanks for re-inforcing my impressions gang.

From what I seen on the tonight show and seen on here. No movie rental or viewing it at the sunday matinee for me. Why does Jlo think she is an actress. Maybe in time I can stomach Jlo as an actress. I don't know. Who liked the Cell. On another note I think Ben has good potential as an actor.

Well I rented it as well. You see, I heard so many bad things about it that my curiosity got the best of me and I rented it to see how bad it was, and man it was bad (well, that is my story and I am sticking with it )

I must say again though that the scene with Christopher Walken was fantastic. This guy is really good. As for JLo and Ben, they are both not that bad in some movies but they are certainly not first caliber actors.

            Thanks,

I won't be watching this one... EVER. Incidentally, it's another movie that made Ebert and Roper's top 10 Worst movies of 2003 list.
