Glad to see the forum up and running again. I tried getting on last night but seemed to have a difficult time bringing up the site. I had gone to catcables.com to see if there was any news there but didn't find any. I'm just happy to see that my favourite forum is here.

Mats relocated the servers, so we had about a days worth of outage there, and then the DNS values had to replicate out across the Internet. All better now, though.
              :later:

              Edited for spelling correction.

Thanks for the information David. It does take time for the dns valus to replicate. Moving the server would do it. Glad to see that everything is back to normal. Back to my daily lurking.

" Does take time for the DNS values to replicate"...

Sure did in my case. Just got back in today. However, seems my router's firewall was blocking The Guide. Imagine, all that time to find this out. For a while there I thought I'd never be back.

Remember that scene in Goldeneye. What would have happened had Bond not woke up? Can you say kaboom!

You guys, this is your forum. It's as good as you want to make it. We been 2 days without a post in the Chalet, and this sort of concerns me. Are we not taking care of your theater needs?...

I sometimes wonder if we aren't all spending way to much effort choosing our gear based on how it sounds in our rooms vs fixing our rooms to give us more accurate sound from the gear we already have. For example suppose we go out and buy a speaker that has a very nice flat frequency response only to...
