    The Family Man

I jst watched an old time favorite for me at holidays. The Family Man with Nicholas Cage and Tia Leoni'. I just loved Tea Leoni, and wished I could see more of her movie roles, or were there not that many? I guess I relate to this movie, because I feel a lot of the emotions Cage does being alone, and being willing to trade it all for happiness in a family. I don't know that will ever happen to me, but I really enjoy that movie. I found this on blu ray this year, so it was just opened for it's first play, nice screen quality on my BenQ 4K.

Whatever you think about Nicholas Cage, this is a good movie. I don't like to reveal a lot of detail about movies, at least without blacking it out with a spoiler tag. I think it's enough about this film to say, outstanding acting jobs, interesting perspectives, and in the end, it's a film that leaves...

In a year of movie stinkers, I was very pleasantly surprised to come across this little gem by random. It's a satirical, silly little comedy about a professional hit man, from a family of contract killers, hired to kill an art thief but instead finds himself protecting her. They are joined by a quirky...

    Spider-Man: Far From Home

Sorry it's been a while since I've posted about movies. Crazy busy with work and research. Took some time yesterday to catch the Spider-Man movie with my son (as a reward to him for doing a man-sized set of chores the previous day). Much like I wrote up for the previous one (seems like it was far less...

Lot's of hype, lot's of expectations. Does Spider-Man make the transition from comic-book to the big screen? Oh yeah! Right up front, this movie rates :45: out of :5: Don't pass Go, don't collect $200 dollars, just go see this movie!
