The Family Man

Whatever you think about Nicholas Cage, this is a good movie. I don't like to reveal a lot of detail about movies, at least without blacking it out with a spoiler tag. I think it's enough about this film to say, outstanding acting jobs, interesting perspectives, and in the end, it's a film that leaves you with that Contact sort of warm feeling. It leaves you happy that you watched the film.

It's not about action, it's not really even that much of a comedy that it's really billed to be, but it is good entertainment. It's about more what if I'd have taken that alternate road in life, and what if? I do something about it now or is it to late to do something about it at all?

The wife bought this several years ago. Good movie, interesting remake (kind of) of It's a Wonderful Life.

Some really cute and funny scenes.

Yeah Lex, this was a movie that I hadn't seen in the theater and rented.
But I enjoyed the movie a lot, and ended up buying it.
Definitely a fun twist on It's a Wonderful Life. Well written and acted.
For me it's one of Cage's best films, and Tea Leoni did a remarkable job.

Well, it is different than Wonderful Life. But it does leave you with a similar sort of feeling I guess.

I agree Dean. One of his better acting jobs. I think he was just able to show so much more emotion in this film than many of his films. So much more "real" emotion. That's the real difference. Tea was excellent in the film as well.

I paid 5 bucks for the movie via my daughter's connections where she works. Excellent deal!
