    Bionicle: Mask of Light

For those of you with the 10 and under crowd in your household, this is a pretty good bet.

I was entertained as well. Story of duty, destiny and friendship in the face of evil. Direct to video, so it's not top tier animation, but it's cleanly done and the story moves along.

Disk is well produced, nice sound track (will work out your low end pretty well) with DD and DTS both.

Some short making of extras, as well as a commentary and a backstory option while playing the movie.

It's a hot seller in the K-2nd grade group especially.

Good to hear about the movie. I've been a Lego toy fan all my life, (still collect and built them--don't tell anyone) and am somewhat disappointed to see some of the odd model lines that they've chosen to put out. Bionicle has been one of them, and when I heard that they were making a Lego movie, I just rolled my eyes. Commercialism can really spoil good toys. The same thing happened with G.I. Joe when they went away from the more traditional military figures to some radioactive mutant creatures. Sad.

But, if the movie was good, perhaps I'll check it out!

So do you have the 3160 piece star wars imperial cruiser kit?

Funny you should ask... I've been drooling over that for a while, but couldn't justify the $300 or so that they want for it. It would make a perfect addition to my collection, though, as the largest Lego set ever produced!

If I had any confidence it would stay together, I would probably get it for my kid. But new legos seem to be made for ease of separation (i.e. they fall apart), unlike when I was little and it meant loss of a fingernail to get them apart.

Was there a lawsuit or something that made them take this tack?

This is one I'll probably have to pick up for the house. I'm pretty interested in watching it myself. I loved playing with lego.
