    Allied

I watched it via Netflix streaming, but the PQ of that steadily improves (not as good as Blu-ray--I don't have 4K Netflix--but the differences are growing slighter every time I watch, or maybe it's my eyes  ).

Not necessarily a collectible gem, but a reasonably good attempt at making a classic wartime spy/thriller/romance. The acting is top notch. Well worth the time I spent watching, even if I won't likely revisit it.

    THE TRANSPORTER

This is a Franco/Asian production and Luc Besson is ( I believe) an executive producer. It stars Jason Statham ( who the heck is he ?) as an ultra-cool ex-military enigmatic fellow who hires himself out as a transporter of various,...

    Movie Posters
    by Lex
Hey, a topic I've not seen discussed much, movie posters. They can be very artistic, decorative, theme oriented, and absolutely collectible.

My daughter really got me started on posters, and I will post my entire collection here, as I find them. It is growing, as I spent a couple of...

    Troels' Soldering Taglines
    by ArvinK
Just a FYI for any crossover builders out there.

I really liked the "soldering taglines" that Troels used to build his crossovers and I was thinking of using these on some of my projects. Troels said that they were from RS Components but I had a heck of a time finding them...

    Valkyrie delivers the goods
    by George Bellefontaine
Valkyrie is a well made, well acted thriller about the true plot to assissinate Hilter in the dying days of WW2. Tom Cruise portrays the brilliant Col. Stauffenberg, who hatches an almost foolproof plan. But like everything else in life, things don't always go according to Hoyle, and what could have...
