    Amazon documentary - Le mans

Just got done watching this documentary on Amazon Prime, it's an Amazon original and have to say it was quite good. It follows 6 or so different teams through the 2015 Le mans series all the way up to the end. Thought some of you motor sports fans might be interested in taking a peek.

... and it was won by a couple of young Kiwis. New Zealand hasn't enjoyed such success at Le Mans since Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon won the race back in 1966.

I was quite a bit older than 12, but I had the same reaction upon hearing John Britten had died.

The Britten V1000 motorcycle is on display in our national museum Te Papa in Wellington. It was purchased in 1995 with funds from the NZ Lottery Grants Board.

John Britten lived in my city Christchurch, about a mile from my house. I never met John but I met his wife a few times. We were members of a city gym I attended in the 1990s.

I stumbled across this documentary on Netflix Streaming. If you are or have been a athlete or are just a avid armchair athlete this is a very entertaining film. The Barclay race takes place every year in some of the more extreme terrain found in Tenn. (no, it is not Lex's unmowed back yard). How do...

                  Ancient Aliens :alol:

I popped this hilarious documentary series off my library shelves the other day in a fit of desperation for rainy day entertainment. It is a series that basically tries to convince it's viewers that we were visited by Aliens many times in the past...

Man, I went to order Avenged Sevenfold's new CD and a Tom Petty collection to replace some abused CDs that have seen better days - added them to my cart on Amazon and it gave an estimated delivery date of November 30th! WTF! I'll pick 'em up at the mall this weekend. That is absolutely ridiculus....

                  Amazon.com's newest Associate HTGuide.com
                  by Lexman
As you have probably already noticed, we have become an Amazon.com associate. What does this mean? Well, simply, we need to create a revenue stream for HTGuide.com. Truthfully, it's the only way we can survive the .com demise over the long haul as we grow, and it also means we can do more in terms of...
