As you have probably already noticed, we have become an Amazon.com associate. What does this mean? Well, simply, we need to create a revenue stream for HTGuide.com. Truthfully, it's the only way we can survive the .com demise over the long haul as we grow, and it also means we can do more in terms of contests and the like as time goes along. Right now, the Amazon banner is located freely throughout the site. Mainly because we dont' have other advertising clients at this point. Even when we do get other clients, we hope to keep most of our advertising related to home theater and audio video. Signing up with Amazon.com is a good start for us, and we trust for you.
We hope that you "old timers" consider "clicking through" HTGuide.com when you make purchases at Amazon. Not only DVDs, but books, audio equipment, whatever! If your not familiar with Amazon, then use the banners at the top or bottom of the forum and check them out. If it's DVD, they usually have it, as well as a plethora of other fine products.
I have had the pleasure of doing business with Amazon on occasion, and along with Reel.com, it was my favorite place to shop. Well, Reel is gone from the DVD business, but Amazon is well Amazon!
Thank you,
