I stumbled across this documentary on Netflix Streaming. If you are or have been a athlete or are just a avid armchair athlete this is a very entertaining film. The Barclay race takes place every year in some of the more extreme terrain found in Tenn. (no, it is not Lex's unmowed back yard). How do you enter? Well that is part of the mystery you have to figure out if you want to be one of the runners. How far is it? Well the course itself is a certain unknown distance. But, you do get a map. How long does it take to run the course? To finish, 24 hours. But, few ever finish. What is the entry fee? Changes from year to year.
Sounds silly I know but, these athletes are the real deal and the race makes the marathon seem like a gentle stroll in the park.
