Well after watching Moonlight last week, I'm now 2 for 2 for IMO, excellent movies (although this is clearly less challenging material than Moonlight).

Watched Little Prince with my boys over the weekend and and while it's more of a 'homage' than an outright adaption of the vaunted book and the the 'normal world' portion of the lead, little girl, is typical modern day glossy animation (and cliched/lacking depth), the movie as whole worked beautifully IMO. Hardcore fans of the book might have a hard time with it not being an adaption but try to keep an open mind. I actually enjoyed the contrast of the two 'story within a story' elements.
One of the better kids movies I've seen since Song of the Sea.
