    Goldmember... funny or not ?

Am I the only one who found this third instalment hilarious ? I know there was some stale retries from the first two, but there was enough fresh stuff here to keep me laughing... and I don't mean the gross stuff.

As for the picture quality... gorgeous, even if I did have to turn my projector's contrast way down.

George, I'm guessing I'm one of the two or three people in the world that can't watch the Austin Powers movies. I just don't like Mike Myers. I do admit he's talented, but they're just not for me. One admission though: I DID roll around laughing at the "tent sillouette" skit in the first one.

Yeah, Myers isn't everybody's cup of tea. BTW, Tex, there's something similar to the tent silhouette scene in Goldmember.

I too thought this film to be the best of the trilogy! It had a lot of original content and did a better job of spoofing the "Super Spy" counterpart. I was even surprised that Beyonce' did decent job with her character.

As George pointed out, the transfer is spectacular! I felt that the colors would leap off the screen. And it had real depth in the picture.

And yes, the psuedo tent scene is even funnier in this one! :B I rented it but, have decided to buy it. Which means, now I have to buy the first two as well.

            Austin Powers - Goldmember - a review

This movie was damn funny! I think most people know what to expect when they go see an Austin Powers movie, and in that respect, Goldmember keeps to that tradition while keeping alive the pure fun of the sight gags which had me ROTLMAMFAO. The opening 5 minutes were definitely very funny (I'm so glad...

            by George Bellefontaine
As much as I like Tina Fey and Amy Poehler and admire them as top class comedic actresses, I felt the script let them down here. Fey is an unmarried, infertile businesswoman who hires Poehler ( a trailer trash type ) to have her child after artificial insemination. For me, the stark differences between...
