    "Prison Break" DVD review




    Prison Break

    I just started spinning this series on DVD the other day and I'm enjoying it. A brother gets himself arrested and incarcerated at a maximum security penitentiary in an effort to try and bust his brother out, who is on death row for a crime he apparently did not commit.

    Prison break stories are nothing new and a lot of this story line here has been done before :roll:, but this one is done quite well. Good writing and acting make this a very entertaining series so far. I'm a little concerned where this series can and will go moving on however. Time will tell as I'm only on disc 4 of the first season.

    Video (16X9) and audio (DD) on the DVD are exceptional in this series and it's quite pleasant on the eyes and ears ! :T

      I watched this series some years ago and, overall, I enjoyed it. IMO, though a buddy of mine disagreed, the quality drops off a fair bit after season 2. What kept me going were an appreciation of the lead actor and the completist side of my viewing habits. YMMV
