This one also falls in the category of movies that make me :banghead: I rated the first one a marginal :5: It had me rolling on the the ground at parts. Clever, funny, juvenile of course. But even today 20 or whatever years later, I'm still quoting various lines from that film. (i.e. "SAMSONITE! I was way off...")
So I had decent (not high) hopes for this film to be entertaining at least, even though I thought it would likely not live up to the original. But to say it fell short is an understatement. Dumb ideas, jokes that fell flat. I enjoy dumb comedies, but this wasn't even funny. I think I counted only two scenes that made me laugh out loud.
Not even worth a rental, IMHO. I honestly wouldn't even bother with it on TV in a few years, unless there's nothing else on and you just want to pass the time. :1: out of :5:
