This is a fairly long movie, so be prepared.
This is an intense drama, a character study, a story of karma, a film that moves thru the intertwined lives of two generations of its protagonists.
The acting is impeccable, the story enthralling, its effect long lasting.
Few modern films reveal unadulterated human emotion this well.
I highly recommend this film to those who appreciate good drama, good writing & good acting.

I enjoyed it quite a bit. Not a perfect film, but one that certainly deserves kudos for its ambition. Reminiscent in pacing and story of 70s era dramas.

I concur. Not a great film but certainly a good one. You know, I thought I had done a review on this a few months back when this was released on Blu-ray. I was probably thinking of doing one but forgot. Old age
