    Caveman's Valentine

I am a Sci-fi movie type of guy. So most things with a lot of action and wizz bang effects, tend to keep me happy in my movie (read between the lines...HT!). So, when a film dosen't have these items as it's draw and it still has me compelled to the point of not wanting to hit the pause button, even to get a soda pop or for a potty break, I know it's good!

Caveman's Valentine is such a film. Told from an angle that is sorta fresh and never slows down for a minute. Though action is minimum, the story seems to always have something going on. And it makes you began trying to solve the puzzel at every scene you encounter.

I highly recommend this film as a must see!

      You're welcome Andrew.

I never heard of it either. My wife made the suggestion to view it and, I'm glad that she did.

        John,

I've been picking this one up and keep putting it down the last two trips into Best Buy. I guess the next trip, I won't put it down. Thanks for the heads-up.

I'm looking forward to what you and Andrew have to say about it.

Well, I've been a big Samuel Jackson fan for years, so CV has that going for it already.

              Finally a DTS Bond film
              by Lex
I was just thinking last night as I opened my Die Another Day DVD, I wonder why we don't have any DTS Bond films. When I got to the DVD menu, I decided to check out languages just to make sure DD 5.1 was active prior to starting the film and what do you know! DTS ES!!! I was shocked, I was pleased,...

How much should a student first time film cost?
              by oldbob
In answer to my own question, I would say between $10,000 and $40,000 dollars. It used to be more but digital has drastically lowered the cost while at the same time making it much easier to produce a professional look.

However, this isn’t a story about reasonable. This is the true...

              by oldbob
Now we all have learned that at the beginning of each day you are given your pages of the days work. For me that means I can figure out how I am going to utilize my crew and plan my day. The more I can get ahead of the company with pre-lighting the more time I can save production. And in film time is...

Check out the trailer from the upcoming movie Elecktra. It's about Jennifer Garner's character introduced in Daredevil, and it's even rumored to have a cameo by Ben Affleck to tie it back to their earlier film.
