From the Earth to the Moon

This is a 12 part sereis that aired on HBO a couple of years ago. It chronicles the space program from 60's. From the first space launch to the landing on the moon and more. It is extreamly well done. I've only gotten to part 7 and am amazed at the hurdles that were overcome by all involved.

If you have any interest in space flight, this set is a must. If you saw Apollo 13 and thought they had problems, then this set is a must. You'll get an even better appreciation of Apollo 13.

The best thing is that since this set has been out for a while, I've seen the price come down. It used to sell for close to C$100, I bought it for C$75 last year, well worth the money.

I forget what I paid for it, but I think it may have been $100 plus, so you got yourself a good deal,Paul.

I finished the rest of the series and it just got better and better.

What I said about Apollo 13 still stands. In fact one episode is about Apollo 13, but it gives the earth bound persepctive.

I hope this is a rental. I would love to check the series out. All I have heard are raves about it.

Bryston or Moon Simaudio amps for 803d or 802d?
            by toronto416
I am interested purchasing a high quality 2 channel stereo system. I have a large collection of classical and jazz cds in my 14 x 20 foot library (and no TV!).

I am interested in supporting high quality Canadian audio manufacturers (where possible), and Bryston and Simaudio Moon products...

            Hello,
After owning both the 805S and the N803 with krell, I have recently changed over to a focal (1027 BE) and moon (I-7) combination. However, I am considering going back to B&W (either 802D or 803D). I know, I know, then why did I switch. Well it seemed like a good idea at the...

So the story goes... I ended up going to the Pearl Jam concert with the guy who I bought the ticket from. His son couldn't make it, picked up the ticket on the way and offered him a ride. Interesting fellow, from Mexico, had only been here a couple years, little hard to understand, every likable fellow......

So HBO Now is finally available on Android and I've started my 30 day trial. The app is very nice, very fluent, easy to find things and so on. I do have one complaint, for some reason they are blocking playback on rooted devices. They don't warn you of this at all before installation, and before you...
