    This Means War

Two CIA operatives and close buddies end up in all out warfare after they discover they are both dating the same woman. The guys are Chris Pine and Tom Hardy and the girl is cute and sexy Reese Witherspoon. It's an action/romantic comedy that makes good viewing for couples. It's the kind of film I would have enjoyed watching with my wife. Nothing new and it has a predictable ending but it's an entertaining 90 plus minutes just the same.

Saw the trailer for this and thought it would be a fun film. Glad you enjoyed it, George. I have yet to see it but, I will add it to my must view list.

      War is hell...
      by George Bellefontaine
But there isn't a helluva lot of war in Pearl Harbour. It is a story of two friends and the woiman they both love, told against the backdrop of the second world war, before the US got involved, and after (Pearl Harbour).

The movie drags a bit at 3 hours. And the war action all told probably...

      RTS Real War
      by Bing Fung

Any thoughts on the RTS game "Real War"? I just downloaded the demo of it and may purchase the full game. Real war has the elements that I like, strategic gaming with modern day weapons. As much as I liked "Age Of Empires", I longed for a RTS game where it was not...

It was THE YOUNG LIONS. released in 1958, it is based on a novel by Irwin Shaw. It was a bestseller in its time, and the film was hot at the boxoffice. It stars a young Marlon Brando, Montgomery Clift, and Dean Martin. It is more about character development and doesn't have a lot of actual war action...

A good old fashioned War Film...
      by George Bellefontaine
      WINDTALKERS.

John Woo, the master of action films, does his magic in Windtalkers. It's a good old fashioned war film, and though the back story deals with how Navajos were used ( their native tongue) to create a code for communications. It was the one wartime code that was never broken....
