I rented this because my wife wanted to see it. I didn't think I would like it but actually ended up finding it quite delightful.Women will probably associate with the lead character because she's obsessed with weight, food, becoming an old maid,etc, but it's really all quite funny.

I notice that either, I am getting older (ok, I'm doing that anyway) or Most of the girly films that I've seen of late are quite enjoyable!

I believe that, directors are begining to realize that if they bring more balance to films for the genders, the more money it will make.
