Ho-hum "thriller" with Nicolas Cage and Nicole Kidman. Cage has a few signature moments that fans will enjoy (I'm a fan) but it's not his best performance by any stretch. Nicole looks hot (until circumstances alter the situation--I don't want to put in any spoilers as the film is predictable enough as it is).

Not so rotten as to make you want to turn it off before the end, but certainly not worth going out of your way to see. A "better than nothing" way to spend an hour and a half on a day with rotten weather if it happens to be on TV.

Yeah, lately I've been passing anything by Nic Cage. Too bad, because I once found him to be a really excellent actor.

Saw this one on the ship last week. Was a STINKER for me. The whole movie can be summed up like this:

Home Intruder: "Open the safe or I'll shoot your wife!"
Nick Cage: "Nooooooo!"
Nicole Kidman: "Just open the safe for him!"
Nick Cafe: "Nooooooooo!"

(and repeat... for 100 MINUTES!!!)

Tired story plot. Predictable elements. Average acting. Not fun.
