    The Devil's Double

    Gooooooooood good movie!!
    Very very enjoyable.
The movie is about one of Saddam's son, and his twisted life.
Worth the purchase just for Dominic Cooper's performance.
There were some points where the director's idea was... odd, but the story really makes the movie.

    Highly recommended. :T

    Notice:
Though some people do allow their younger children to watch rated R movies, this would not be one of those movies that would be appropriate even with adult supervision. There are several parts that are very strong and disturbing in violence/sexual violence.

Not many rental shops left in my area, and since Blockbuster went belly up, the selection is very poor, but I'll keep an eye out for this one.

So George, I guess in that case you must have to buy the movies you want to see??. That's too bad because 95% of movies are worth watching only once.....some after watching them, I regretted even that!!. They were a waste of the 6 buck rental!!.

Not so much in the case of mainstream movies. For example, popular new releases are readily available. But I like many of those little independent type films and Blockbuster used to carry a really good selection of this category. That's what I miss. In the case of indies, if there is something good out there I want to see, yeah I'd pretty much have to buy it.

            Classic Movies

Several years ago, I decided that I wanted to read all of the "classic" works of literature, and dove into a reading list including Stranger in a Strange Land, Catcher in the Rye, various Asimov, Steinbeck, Ayn Rand, etc. I'm making progress.

Since then, I've started to buy...

Blockbuster vs. Netflix for Blu-ray rental?
            by maseline_98
We currently have blockbuster. I like the service because we are able to exchange them in the store. The problem is that our closest store is closing this Sunday. When renting through the mail, the blu-rays(at least new releases) seem to take much longer to get than we would like(usually with a 'very...
